2018 Sierra Ski-O : Round 1

January 6 - 7
Lake Tahoe, CA

Cancelled! - Unfortunately we're going to have to cancel the Jan 6/7 races. TD is closed with almost no snow, and while ASC is open, the available trails aren't interesting enough to make good ski-o. Stay tuned for the Feb races!

Winning Times

wicked fast

Sat: Beginner (White) / Advanced (Orange) / Expert Short (Green) / Expert Long (Blue)
Sun: Beginner (White) / Tournament (1.5-3km each round, about 8k for all four)

Sunday is a sprint tournament format, with four rounds of short sprint courses, 1.5 to 3km each. Everyone races all four rounds, and an overly complicated bracket system figures out who wins! The course difficulty is appropriate for everyone.

All races will be timed with SIAir Touchless punching. If you do not have one, a loaner will be provided as long as you register by Dec 25th. After that you may be given a regular (not-touchless) SI stick if no touchless ones are available.
